Who I am

Thanks for taking the time to read my story.

My name is Daisy. I was really drawn by magic at a young age. I bought my first Tarot deck when I was 13 and I still use that same deck now at 38 to reach the core of people’s challenges. I aim to inspire them to self-development, (self-) understanding and growth.

I have not often followed the path of least resistance. My path has made me strong and has taught me that failure does not exist and that mistakes are there to learn from and that with my successes they form my life. It has taught me that these life experiences are essential in fulfilling my calling. I feel quite easily and naturally which emotions people, or the people my conversation partner talks about, have. I feel quite easily which possible traumatic experiences lie under someone’s current behavior. This way I can quickly and effectively identify the problem. With the aim, of course, to make people understand why and how it is possible to let go of this behavior. Some example of this are feeling of jealousy, fear, insecurity, aggression, anger, helplessness, frustration and sadness.

As a result of the insights the cards give me, my intuition or high sensitivity and my life lessons, people find me a pleasant and understanding partner in conversation. Subjects that I talk about include:

• Domestic violence
• Sexual abuse and prostitution
• Gender diversity
• Anxiety disorder (like PTSD) or other behavioral disorders.
• Low self-image or self-esteem (the feeling “nothing is meant for me or granted to me”)
• Depression
• Relationships
• Addictions (alcohol abuse, drugs, sex)
• Work
• Love
• Loss (bereavement)

I can also counsel you on your health. (Always consult your GP)

Next to tarot card readings I work with all kinds of energy. Emotion is just one of them. I am a Reiki Master and people tell me that a remote energy healing often has a very good effect. I have years of experience with herbal medicine and I never stop learning about it. I like to teach people how to use the power of positive thinking when they experience stagnation in any part of their lives. How you look at an event determines what you see.

The term ‘know yourself’. In my opinion it is the beginning of Wisdom, the beginning of Magic. The foundation of life lessons in Magic is often to let yourself be inspired in as many ways possible. Reading, studying, investigating and then exercise, exercise, exercise. Magic is mainly about focus and letting energy flow. It is important to realize that someone’s focus determines their truth.

I find this an inspiring story about different ways to look at the phenomenon of truth.

Two angels travelled together and stopped for the night at the house of a rich family. The family was rude and denied the angels the comfort of their guest house. Instead they were given a cold cellar to sleep in. While they were making their beds on the cold floor, the older angel spotted a hole in the wall and fixed it. When the younger angel asked why, the older one replied: “Things are not always what they seem to be.”
The next night the two angels came to the house of a very poor, but hospitable farmer and his wife. After sharing the little food they had, the couple let the angels sleep in their own bed, where they could enjoy a good night’s rest. When the sun rose the next morning, the angels found the farmer and his wife in tears. Their only milking cow, their sole source of income, lay dead in the field.
The younger angel was furious: “How could you let this happen? The first man had everything and yet you helped him!” he accused. “And the second family had nothing, but was willing to share everything, and you let their cow die.”
“Things are not always what they seem to be.” Replied the older angel. “When we were in the cellar of the first house, I saw gold hidden in the wall. Because the owner was obsessed with greed and wouldn’t share his good fortune, I fixed his wall, so he wouldn’t find his gold. Last night when we slept in the farmer’s bed, the angel of death came to collect his wife. I gave him the cow instead.”

Sometimes that is exactly what happens when thing don’t go the way they’re supposed to go. If you are convinced of that, you only have to trust that every outcome is beneficial to you, even if you don’t see it right away. The information received through your eyes will only be 20% of the image your brain forms. The rest of it will be formed in collaboration or counteraction with your subconscious. How you complete the image is dependent on previous experiences, expectations, education, culture and different senses. Our brains are not capable of observing the whole truth of information. So where your focus lies determines what you see. I have to admit that this piece of knowledge has made my live a lot less frustrating. People do not always lie. Their focus is different than mine and with it their truth, their views and the way they see the world. Your truth even changes with the years, because your perspective changes with the lessons life teaches you. Your view of certain situations changes and with it your ‘truth’. Do you let a conviction in your subconscious keep you from growing? Question yourself, so you become conscious of your own truth. What is your focus? Why? Where does it originate? Does this view of life help me or does it kill my happiness? Do I protect myself from disappointment or has this protection turned against me and do I protect myself from happiness only? Every intention and emotion, everything is and has energy. And energy attracts energy. Imagine that negative energy (negative thinking, fear, frustration) has a certain vibration, and positive energy has a different vibration. You will attract something with the same vibration. People with a focus on negativity (without judgement, because grief and pain can cause a bitterness that for some people is hard to escape) see in the 20% they can observe, all the misery, war, hunger, money worries and health issues in the world, but mostly the ones around them. Of course positive thinking does not delete these things, but the more negativity you allow in your live, the more you will attract, until you end up in a vicious circle.

Emotions like fear and frustration stagnate energy. I help to create a way of transforming this energy to a positive vibration or a way to get the energy flowing again, depending on what is needed. I believe strongly in the freedom of choice of every human being. The cards show what may happen if you continue on the same path. You don’t have to accept the outcome. My strength is to show you how to influence the outcome of the cards to a positive result.
